Vodafone has just unveiled a new umbrella concept known as the Booster Brolly, an umbrella that can charge your smartphone! The umbrella would be perfect for times when you need extra juice or added signal in remote areas where the signal is weak.

The carbon fiber umbrella is affixed with 12 hand-stitched silicon solar cells that charge a battery stored in its handle. The handle, in turn, will charge your smartphone in around three hours using its USB port. Built-in antennas enable signal amplification within a meter radius.
