The Intel Berytech Innovation Challenge (IBIC), is a program established by Intel and Berytech, to enable Young entrepreneurs to participate in the Intel Levant Business Plan competition, part of Intel Global Challenge, a worldwide Intel and UC Berkeley competition, targeting university students, graduates and young entrepreneurs, who present innovative technology business plans.
In collaboration with a prestigious network of partners in education, entrepreneurship and media like Tech Today Show, across the Levant, IBIC will lead to exceptional opportunities for young entrepreneurs in the region.
About Intel Global Challenge
Founded in 2005 as collaboration between UC Berkeley and Intel, Intel Global Challenge is the most recognized technology business plan competition that encourages emerging entrepreneurs and rewards ideas that have potential to become a new business or even a new industry. At the competition, student teams from around the world vie for $100.000 in prize money and receive direct feedback from leaders in the Silicon Valley entrepreneur community.

Three winning projects will have the chance to participate at the Intel Levant BPC 2012 that will take place in Jordan in September 2012 and will get the following opportunities:
- 4 days event fully supported by Intel.
- Key meetings with specialists from Intel and UC Berkeley.
- Mentoring session in preparation for the final competition event, at Berkeley.
The winning project at Intel Levant BPC will be fully sponsored by Intel to participate in Intel Global Challenge finals, that will be held in UC Berkeley during November 2012 offering the following:
- 1 grand prize: $50K
- 3 first prizes: $15k
- 1 people choice: $5K
The winning project will benefit from an incubation program, offered by Berytech, to get the right support for development.
